I recently spent the day at a woodland pool hide near Kirkcudbright taking photographs of birds and red squirrels. This particular red squirrel was very entertaining to watch. The hide is run by Alan McFadyen of Scottish Photography Hides. Alan operates several photography hides in the area. He is so knowledgeable and helpful and his hides are fantastic.
