I spent a few days in Eindhoven recently. Transport links to the airport and other nearby towns are excellent. The city is modern and very easy to walk around as it is mostly flat. The people are friendly and there are lots of good restaurants and cafes. Our hotel http://www.hotelglow.nl/ was in a great location for all the main attractions. I particularly enjoyed Enversed Virtual Reality Centre https://www.enversed.com/en/welcome/ and attending a gig at the Effenaar https://www.effenaar.nl/. It is worthwhile learning a few Dutch words. Alsjeblieft meaning please or you're welcome is the most useful. All in all a great city that I would recommend for a short break.
