I am just back from a holiday in Malta. If you love history, quaint fishing villages, fireworks (the Summer months are full of amazing fireworks displays) and sunshine in a friendly atmosphere Malta is the place to go. The photo opportunities are endless. We stayed in St Julians, which gave us easy access to most parts of the island. A 21 euro weekly pass for the public buses is a very good buy.
