A Day at the Races

24/03/2019
I spent the afternoon at the Point-to-Point steeplechase at Overton Farm in the Clyde Valley. It is held annually each March and attracts a lot of spectators. Point-to-Point is a form of horseracing over fences for hunting horses and amateur riders. There were six races over either two miles four furlongs or three miles. Photographers are free to take photos at any part of the course as long as they don't use flash. It is a good way to practice photographing fast moving subjects.
